Remember the good old days, before email, blogs, web surfing, cell-phones and social networking?
I'm dropping off the grid for a few days, about a week really, and I wonder how I will cope without checking email or surfing the web?
How long can you go without?
Start with 100 points
If you have a blackberry subtract 200 points
If you can go for 7 days without turning on your cell phone subtract 50 points
If you can only go for 6 days without turning on your cell phone subtract 60 points
If you can only go for 5 days without turning on your cell phone subtract 70 points
If you can . . . well you get the idea
If you can go for 7 days without turning on your computer, surfing the web or checking email subtract 20 points
Follow the same logic as above for subtracting points
Bonus points for leaving the country and leaving your cell, laptop, etc. at home.
The person with the most points at the end of 7 days wins.
What do you win, well not much, maybe a little personal introspection and balance to your life.
